Hi I'm Hollie Langford

I was born in Michigan, but I grew up in Utah. I've played the piano since I was six years old. I'm a missionary. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I graduated from Lone Peak High School in 2014 and completed one year at UVU before leaving to serve a mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Currently I do not know what career I want to pursue, but I know I want to help children in some way. I absolutely love playing the piano, and I have been able to teach for a couple of years. If the sun is shining outside and it is a beautiful day, chances are that I am outside enjoying it. Usually I am seen laughing, smiling and just having a good time! I love laughing and being around the people I love, and I'm so grateful for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and Latter-Day Saint because I love my savior and my Heavenly Father. There is no other church that I would rather be in right now. The standards I have been given have kept me safe and clean, and I am so grateful for that. I know this gospel is true, and I know it's Christ's church. I am a Mormon because I want to be like my savior some day, and this gospel helps me get one step closer ever day I live it faithfully. I'm a Mormon because I love the Book of Mormon. Every time I ready it I get something new out of it, and it has strengthened my testimony so much. Having the Book of Mormon in my life has given me strength, and I know it has brought me closer to the prophets of old, and closer to my savior.

How I live my faith

When I was in my student ward, I had a special calling as a visiting teaching advisor. I realized that I had to set a good example to the girls I was over, so I would try and visit teach every month. Visit teaching my girls every month got me new friends and a love for visiting teaching. I really did love the girls I served, and I worried about them. Right now I'm showing my faith by serving a full time mission in Baton Rouge Louisiana. There is nothing better for me personally right now, and I know that this is what my Heavenly Father wants me to do. I'm living this gospel by helping other people live the gospel, and it doesn't get better than that.
