Hi I'm Chandler Dickson

I live in Utah. I run track and cross country. I have been called to serve a mission in St. Louis.

About Me

I'm originally from Washington but have moved around to various places. My favorite sport is hockey and I'm a pretty good hockey player. I run track and cross country at my high school. I love to play sports. I play hockey, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, track, cross country, lacrosse, and pretty much everything else! I'm going to college after I serve my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into this church. I have learned for myself that this church is true. It started out young with my parents teaching me how to live in accordance with the gospel. Church and seminary classes taught me basic principles and how to apply those same principles into my life. By applying faith to these teachings I gradually started gaining my own personal testimony of those principles. Experiences such as temple open houses, temple celebrations, and youth conferences have helped strengthened my testimony of the gospel in their own unique ways. I know that this church is true. Joseph Smith restored the church to its fullness and translated the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is true. Every single word is inspired by God and written by those prophets in there. The Doctrine and Covenants are truly inspired of God. Every revelation given to the prophets was directly from our loving Heavenly Father. The Bible is true as far as it is translated correctly. From the Pearl of Great Price to the book of Revelations. Christ died for us. He died so that we could be resurrected and given a chance at achieving Eternal Life. Because of Him you can be forgiven of any sins or transgressions you may have committed. He is our brother. He loves us more than you or I could possibly fathom. Our Heavenly Father loves us the same. He is our spirit father. He loves us so much he sends us prophets, apostles, and so forth. He gives us personal revelation and makes it possible to become like Him. This is my simple but unwavering testimony of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I am part of the seminary council at my high school. I do activities with my fellow youth in my ward. I come to church every week and try to be an example to others.
