Hi I'm Noah Nicholes

I grew up around the world because of my father's work. I am serving a mission in the greater Baltimore area. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies consist of swimming, biking, video games, working, and hanging out with friends. I am serving a full time mission in the Baltimore Maryland mission. After my mission I plan on going to BYU Idaho, where I will join the nursing track there. After or during my school years, I will join the ROTC and work in the military.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon started out when I was born into the faith, If not I probably would have been on a very different pathway. I truly became converted later in my childhood, around the age of 14. We had a youth activity which involved a lot of pushing of hand carts. We came to a stop in a shady spot, and as we were waiting for the next event, I heard someone singing one of the hymns. The hymn struck a cord in my heart, and I knew this was what the Lord wanted for me. I know I am young compared to most of the world, but I know with a true knowledge that Jesus is the Christ, the one true savior of the world. I know that Joseph was a prophet called of God, and through the Book of Mormon and the Bible, we can come to a sure knowledge of the path that we must take to achieve salvation.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord through missionary work, I am currently serving a mission in the Baltimore Maryland Mission. Before I came out I participated in multiple community service projects such as food drives and park cleanings. I usually helped out with any of the church sponsored activities by helping prepare and cook the food, set up tables and supply dinner ware, and help clean up afterwards. I like to do what I can when I can.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Noah Nicholes
Just as in the Old Testament, there have been prophets who spoke for the Lord. The people did not worship Moses or Amos. The people did not worship John or Paul. They all worshiped and continue to worship Jesus Christ and our eternal Heavenly Father. Joseph Smith is a prophet of the Lord and we hold him in high respect for his service as a prophet, but we worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
