Hi I'm Emily

I am currently serving in the Japan Sapporo Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very active and adventurous person. I'm always wanting to make things and work with my hands. Anywhere outdoors is better than any day sitting inside. I love to admire the beautiful world our Heavenly Father created for us. I attended college for two semesters before deciding to serve a mission. I was unsure of this decision but from the help of family and friends sharing their testimonies with me I came to realize just how much I love this gospel and what it has done for me. My family and friends are my biggest supporters and I don't know what I would do without them. I'm excited to see where this life will take me next.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen life without this gospel, I have felt the void you feel without it. The day I learned for myself that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ was the best day of my life and I will never forget the feelings I had. I know from experience and person revelation this is where I belong, on earth today at the time of the restored gospel. I know that everyone can come to know the truthfulness of these things on their own. I testify that there will be hard times, but through the help of this gospel and my Heavenly Father I have overcome all of those hard times and come out a better person. I know that without my Heavenly Father I could not have done this. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I do this by being an example of the happiness and joy this gospel can bring to your life. I love to share my testimony with those I come in contact with so that they too can see the love Heavenly Father has for them. I will continue to live my faith by serving full time mission.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Emily
A testimony is your spiritual witness given to you by the Holy Ghost. It is the knowledge that you have of the things of the gospel. Every testimony is individual and personal to each holder. Testimonies learn and grow as you do. My testimony is something very special to me. I have worked hard to know for myself the truthfulness of this gospel and that is my testimony. It is the knowledge I have of our loving Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the living prophet we have on the earth today. Show more Show less
