Hi I'm Ian

I was born in Kirkland, Washington and now live in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy sports and activities outside. Baseball, football, biking, and long boarding are among my favorites. I have been called to serve a mission in Cebu, Philippines and I could not be more excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I wouldn't say that I was very outgoing about my church until recently. I had not read the Book of Mormon fully and although I went to church every Sunday and held all my callings I still felt that I hadn't made this decision for myself. That all changed when I graduated High School and all of my buddies started to go serve missions and all go separate ways. That was when I had the time to truly ponder, pray, and read the Book of Mormon. Everything started to make sense after that. After reading the Book of Mormon there is no doubt in my mind that this church is true, that Joseph Smith was called as a prophet of God and translated the Book of Mormon. Now that I have this knowledge and peace and continue to receive more all I want to do his share this with everyone so they can feel it too.

How I live my faith

Every month my father and I make it a priority to visit members of our neighborhood. We have been going to one particular family's house for many years and we have developed a great connection with them. I teach 4-5 year olds in our church, it is fun to work with such bright children of god.
