Hi I'm Kaleigh Kelsey

I'm a daughter and a sister. I'm a red-head. I love the potato fields of Idaho and the beaches of French Polynesia. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in small-town Idaho. I love to run, I love to read, and I love good music. I play the piano and the organ... tried the guitar, and it didn't turn out too well. Right now, I am serving a mission in French Polynesia, where I am learning to love a completely different way of life-- one full of sunshine, music, dancing, lots of really yummy food, and the best people in the world. I have five super-star little sisters, and two young, hip, and wonderful parents. I love them all almost as much as I love Mexican food... Just kidding, nothing comes close to my family. They are truly my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I like being a Mormon! I am happy! I have this beautiful light and joy in my life thanks to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! It truly makes me joyful beyond anything I can describe, and I love it!

How I live my faith

When I was just a little girl, I remember going to the hospital when my little sisters were born and my parents telling me they came right straight from heaven with our Heavenly Father. I think my faith has taught me above all that we are all children of God, and that each one of us is special and different. Growing up in a small town, everyone knows everyone, and I always felt like we really were all brothers and sisters. Now, I have this opportunity to serve on a tiny little island in the middle of the ocean, and I feel the same thing. Despite the fact that we grew up across the world, and that our cultures are completely different, I feel like these people are my family. That is one way I try to live my faith-- loving other people.
