Hi I'm Sierra

I'm an author, an adventurer, a music lover, and a creative mind. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've always loved to read, write, and draw. Working on creative projects is something I really enjoy- from making cheesy short films with friends to publishing books I've written. I love to keep busy and to learn new things. Wake boarding and going on bike rides are a few things I like to do for exercise. I love listening to movie scores and have BBQs with family and friends. My family and friends are my world, they make life worth living!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, and I've been taught about the Gospel of the church since I was small. I've come to know for myself that the teachings of this Gospel are true because I've asked God about it and about the Book of Mormon after I read it and he gave me an answer. Now that I'm an adult I choose for myself to go to church and follow the teachings I learn because they make me happy.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and attend all the meetings. Sometimes I visit people in my ward and just chat with them. I attend weekly church activities with my Stake's Singles Ward (Service Projects, Dances, Church Lessons.) I also attend in depth church classes that they have for young adults on weekdays. I love to share my beliefs with others, people that I know and don't know. I try to befriend others and serve them the best I can.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Sierra
I do believe that we have a prophet today, just like they had in the Bible. God did not leave them without direction, so why would he leave us? We all need guidance from our loving Heavenly Father so we can return to Him. Especially in this world where it can be hard to tell what's right and what's wrong, he gave us a prophet today to help us know what to do and lead us where God needs us to go. Show more Show less
