Hi I'm Jacob Fairholm

I grew up in Northern Virginia. I've been called to serve as a missionary in Mesa, Arizona. I'm a triplet. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a college student studying biology and microbiology. I love playing my trombone. In high school I played in the marching band, concert band, and jazz ensemble, but now in college I am only able to play in the concert band. I'm an Eagle Scout and I love going camping and being involved in Scouting. I've been called to serve as a missionary in the Arizona Mesa Mission. I'm excited to learn and teach in Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I feel the love of God whenever I go to church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and it has given me so much peace, comfort, and guidance throughout my life. I love that book so much. I love that we have a prophet living on the Earth today and he can give us modern scripture through revelation. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and he restored Christ's church on the Earth. Although I grew up in the Church, there reached a point where I had to figure out for myself if it was true. Over the course of the past year, I've come to know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission. When I'm on my mission, I will be teaching people about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and about the love that our Heavenly Father has for them. I've also been able to serve as the president of the group of 12-13 year old boys and as secretary for the 14-15 year old group.
