Hi I'm Tyler Anderson

I am a Mormon, Scottish American, & am a full time missionary, I am serving in the Ogden Utah Mission.

About Me

I like taking long walks on the beach, honing my Bagpipes skills on P-day, practicing my Dunking Skills, I love wrestling I can always get Elder Stoner to tap out, I like doing Arnold Shwartzaneger impressions with Elder Swenson, I like to teach Elder Aston how to farm Potatoes, the highlights of my life was dunking over Elder Carlson #thestruggleisreal #lonepeak4peat, beating Elder Draper at LaCrosse, beating Elders Blaylock, & Shira at movie trivia, beating Elder Tidwell in Pokémon, beating Elders Coleman, Mendes & Castillo at Soccer, but my favorite is dunking over Elder Carlson I like researching my family history and I am a Mormon, I also attended Lone Peak High School, and am very proud of the fact that our Highschool basketball is the best in the universe, my nickname that other missionaries call me is "Lone Peak". Being Baptized is the most important, and best decision in my life, I invite others to follow the example of Jesus Christ, & be baptized, by holding the proper Priesthood of God!!! You will not regret it!!!

Why I am a Mormon

My great-great-great-great grandfather John Anderson, was converted to the LDS church in Scotland in 1839, and my family has associated with the church ever since.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Utah Ogden Mission, most missionaries in don't get called to serve a mission in the same state that they grew up in (I grew up in Cedar Hills UT), I guess I could be the definition of the Lord calls you where he wants you to go, and he does not make mistakes!!! #utahogdenmissionwe'renumberone👌☝

The purpose of Church welfare is to promote self-reliance and to care for and serve the poor and needy. For assistance, recipients are encouraged to work (when able) so that they are blessed and can bless the lives of others. Work is a guiding principle in the Church's welfare program. What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Tyler Anderson
Homosexuality is a sin, so is Same Sex Marriage, numerous times in the the Bible, & the Book of Mormon God repeatedly condemns Homosexuality. God will never change his mind due to popular trends, "Mormon 9:9 For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing" Show more Show less

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Tyler Anderson
We do not believe in Abortion, except in cases of opinion of competent medical counsel, if the health of the mother is in danger, rape, or incest. Our church teaches the principal of Free agency, which allows us the choice act upon our decisions, that being said there is a consequence of every decision, that can either be good or bad. Sexual intercourse, the consequence could result in pregnancy, we believe that if the mother chooses conscious intercourse, that is her own decision, if she becomes pregnant, through conscious sex, than she must not abort the baby, for it is a consequence that she was given, for the action she participated in. Life starts at conception, it is a serious Sin to take the life of another, even one who is still in the womb. Show more Show less
