Hi I'm Rebecca Evans

I'm a small town girl. I've just graduated with my associates degree and am now getting ready to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small Utah town that I love. After graduating high school I decided to further my education and headed to college. I enjoy anything outdoors such as hiking, four-wheeling, and running. I also love western swing, playing the piano, and hanging out with friends. I have chosen to serve a mission and after will continue my education and I hope to become a physical trainer. The most important things to me are my family and the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS home but I decided I had to find out for myself if this was the true church and if God really lived. I couldn't rely on the words of the people around me. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. As I did these things I was able to find the truth for myself. I know that God lives and that He answers my prayers. As I came to know that the Book of Mormon was true I knew that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored the same church as was in Christ's time. Having this knowledge gives me strength and hope. I know that with God all things are possible. With His help I am able to find peace, comfort, and able to do much more with my life than I would be able to alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to stay true to my beliefs. In my church I play the piano and organ for hymns to be sung to. I love participating in service activities. Some things that people my age have done are weeding, picking up garbage, and visiting people in need. This service brings me joy.
