Hi I'm Garrett Gneiting

I was born and raised in Utah County. I am currently working towards becoming a veterinarian and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently finished my first year of college along with my twin Blake. I am interested in becoming a veterinarian, and love to play sports of any kind. I particularly love volleyball and basketball. I also enjoy the outdoors, in particular fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

Despite the fact that I was born and raised in a strong LDS family, I know for a fact that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored church of God. About two years ago I was diagnosed with liver cancer. Because of this, I was unable to attend about half of my senior year of high school and barely graduated. However, the blessings of healing I received while in the hospital will never be forgotten. I testify that through the priesthood (the power of God) we can be healed. I have experienced it first hand. That is why I am a Mormon. I can't deny that because of a Priesthood blessing I was healed.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a 2 year Full Time LDS mission in Washington D.C. speaking Spanish. However, before I decided to leave I taught young children in my community about Jesus Christ and his gospel. I live my faith by trying to be an example to those around me, and by being kind and respectful to everyone that I meet.
