Hi I'm Mikayla

I live in Utah. Serving a mission in the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

It is now two days until I will be entering the MTC in provo to serve a mission in the philippines! I am beyond excited for this next adventure in my life. This experience will allow me and others to grow and become more aware of this incredible gospel! My interests are playing volleyball, laughing and making others laugh, eating pizza, and having a good time with friends and family... but now my main interest is sharing this gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

Plain and simple it makes me happy and I know this is the true church. Everything I have ever learned in this church has helped me to become a better person. Also feeling the love of my Father in Heaven is the best most peaceful and comforting feeling in the world. I would love it if everyone could grow and learn to know that feeling!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every week and striving to do my best at my calling! I am only 19 so I have only had one calling and that was an activities director! Other than that I served as president in our young woman's organization! All these things have helped me to appreciate hard work and I have learned to love others easier. Like I said earlier I am going on a mission so that is now my focus and I can't wait to serve our Heavenly Fathers children!

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Mikayla
Through the making of ordinances and covenants ( a promise between us and our Heavenly Father) our marriages in the temple are eternal, which means forever; even after death. So after a loved one has died, it is still sad but so much easier to handle knowing that we can be with them again. Show more Show less
