Hi I'm Aleric

I'm an aspiring entrepreneur. A CPA. An inventor-apprentice. A band manager. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm an accountant yet I dream of being an entrepreneur. I love to create, organize and run things my way. I'm open to possibilities and new ideas. Currently, I am apprenticing an invention made by my dad. I dream to run my own organizations someday. I love the thrill, challenges and new learning that comes to it. I also manage a young band. I love outdoors especially mountaineering, long-distance biking and running. I love to play Sepak Takraw since I was a kid, got a scholarship through it and been to places competing nationally. I'm a techy person, love to do things fast and efficient. And hey, I was a farmer too!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because my parents are Mormons but because I believe the Church is true. Long ago, I was bothered that if this Church was really true. Though I was happy with all the friends and activities, I still want to know which Church would Jesus Christ come back in his second advent. Then I came across the account of Joseph Smith, I did what he did. I search James 1:5 for I "lack wisdom" and "ask God". Then I started reading whole Book of Mormon day and night. And after that, I've known that this is the true Church and He will come back to this Church in His second coming.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Young SIngle Adult (YSA) representative in our ward and also teaches in the Sunday School for new members and visitors. I teach basic principles and doctrine to them. As a YSA Representative, I ensure monthly activities for young single adults ages 18-and above that are not married. We go out, do barbecues, perform our talents in the Church. It's been a learning experience handling new members and visitors and also organizing the young adults. Gained a lot of friends over time.
