Hi I'm Lisa Grace

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a dancer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dancer. I was on my high school dance company and took classes at a studio as well. I enjoy many different styles of dance but my favorite is contemporary. I also play the cello, the piano and a little bit of guitar. I love being outdoors, cooking yummy food and being with my friends and family. I just finished my freshman year of college and I am now preparing to serve a church mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and I gained a knowledge of its truthfulness gradually throughout my life. Through small but meaningful experiences, I came to know that Heavenly Father loves me and that because He loves me, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for me. I also came to know that He restored His gospel in full in these days through the prophet Joseph Smith. I came to know this through reading the words of the Book of Mormon and asking God sincerely if it was true. I received a confirmation through the Holy Spirit that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. The gospel of Jesus Christ restored through the prophet Joseph Smith has changed my life immeasurably and has lead me to greater happiness, peace, direction and joy than anything else. I love it and I live it!

How I live my faith

This past year in college, I was in a congregation made up of only young single adults (besides the Bishop and other leaders). I had the opportunity to care for and visit two girls in my ward (congregation) once a month and check in to make sure everything was going okay in their lives with classes, relationships and everything else. As I served these girls, I grew to really love them.
