Hi I'm Brooklyn Schick

I grew up in St. George Utah. I love to dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in St. George, but moved to Farmington when i was 15 years old. Some hobbies of mine include; dancing, wake boarding, camping, hunting, and spending time with my family. I attended one year of college working on my pre requisites for nursing school. I also worked as a CNA during that time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up as a Mormon. I have never questioned why I am a Mormon. This gospel brings me so much joy. Every time I feel the spirit I feel so good inside. I have no doubt that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real, and that they help us in our every day lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and will help guide our lives every day. I believe in the power of prayer more than anything. I know that all we have to do is kneel and ask and he is there for us with answers. I am grateful for this gospel, and can't wait to share it with the people of Peru.

How I live my faith

I do not have any callings as of right now. I have served as a president in my Young Women's classes. I have also served as a counselor in my Young Women class. I am now preparing to serve as a missionary for our church, I am called to serve in the Lima Peru Central Mission. I report to the Peru MTC on Wednesday August 12th.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Brooklyn Schick
Our Church performs Baptisms for the dead for those that have passed through the veil already. Those that were not able to be apart of this church while they were here on earth will have a chance to accept the gospel. We perform these ordinances for them since they are no longer able to do it themselves. Show more Show less
