Hi I'm Thomas

I was born and raised in New Mexico. I love music and exercise. I love to eat. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a pretty normal guy. I love to exercise, being outdoors enjoying the beauties of the earth, and I am a pancake fanatic! I am a middle child. I have an older and younger sister. Throughout my life, I lived in two households. In NM with my dad and stepmom and in Las Vegas and then Utah with my mom. I try to live life to the fullest and love trying new things!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church but I never relied on my parents testimony to grow. I was determined to have my own testimony and had to come to know the truth through serious trials, study and prayer. Throughout my life I have noticed that there truly is a battle between right and wrong. Like most people in life I sadly lost the battle and made choices that didn't make me happy. Fortunately for me, I was able to realize that was not the way to true happiness. So I started over with the basics, realizing that I needed to have Christ as my foundation. With that in mind, I began to change my habits, daily activities and my way of thinking. Through many hours, days and months of study and prayer and personal revelation, I gained a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the only way to have true happiness on this earth is to follow the teachings of Jesus. He brings light into the darkest places, he is my beacon and support whenever I call upon him he is there to be my comforter. I am so grateful to have overcome obstacles in my life that give me the strength to go and bless others who are in need of Christ in their lives. He has calmed the storms in my life, and I am truly humbled for the chance I have to continue to serve in His church. I love my family and everything they have done for me. I am so blessed to continue to live a life that blesses me and enriches my teachings through the power of the spirit, for the love of our Father in Heaven, and His son Jesus Christ and the love and forgiveness that only through Christ we can be truly forgiven of all our ungodly choices. To be able to live in a time where the Priesthood is restored on the earth to the prophet Joseph Smith. I'm so grateful for the Book of Mormon and for the sacredness that it carries in my life and heart. It truly is the word of God.

How I live my faith

I love being active in my church. I was called to be a "ward missionary". So I went out with the missionaries in our area and helped find and teach people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I went out several times a month with other members of the church to visit and help people in need. I enjoy helping others with both physical needs and spiritual needs. It makes me feel good when I serve others!
