Hi I'm Taylee Anderson

I grew up in Utah. I'm an avid USU Aggie Fan. Wannabe Dancer. Called to serve in the Maryland Baltimore mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Taylee. I'm the youngest of six kids which is awesome, but can be very stressful at times. I've been an aunt since the age of seven so it's almost like I have younger siblings. I love my family! I love to get out and play mainly soccer, tennis, four square...you name it! Music...you give me a beat and I'll sing and dance my heart out. I'm am half way through my college career and it is the BEST and the WORST all the same time. This means my funds are a little preoccupied which also means my traveling dreams are on hold for the time being. Sometimes I wish I could just travel the world. I've hit Taiwan, Mexico, Canada and the majority of the 50 nifty United States. I love a good road trip or even flight. Can you imagine that? Even after a sixteen hour flight to Taiwan sitting next to a man who only spoke Chinese...I don't mind it. Recently I have been called to the Lord as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Which is very exciting, but also very nerve racking. This is me...I'm just taking life one day at a time. Enjoy the Simple things in life, for one day you will realize they were the big things.

Why I am a Mormon

Every day I have a choice to make. The choice is to believe or not to believe. To believe that I am a daughter of God who LOVES me and all his children. To believe that he sent his son to die for me. Who is there everyday helping me along this path of life. To follow the prophet, because there is modern direct revelation from God. To believe that I am here on Earth for a purpose and Heavenly Father has a specific plan for me. To believe that my family can be together forever and if I live worthily I can marry in the temple and have an eternal family of my own. To believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God. To believe that right here right now...I am on a mission. The mission is to return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the only way to do so is through this gospel. This, this is why I'm a Mormon. Because I know these things to be TRUE. I know because I have searched the scriptures, pondered, and prayed. This is why I make the choice, because I know God loves me and I love him. Which brings more happiness than any other thing could.

How I live my faith

Something I'm learning is that people are very important. They are God's greatest creation. So I'm trying everyday to treat people like they deserve. I've been blessed enough to grow with the church in my life. Which is the BIGGEST blessing. It has helped me set standards for myself, and make decisions I couldn't have made on my own. It helped me grow into an educated lady and has helped me keep my head on straight. I've been able to serve in a few church callings. One of which was a teacher for the women of my ward. I loved this calling, because preparing for lessons I learned so much, and then during the meeting the women of the ward would teach me so much. It was a very humbling and edifying experience, where I felt so strongly love from God not only for me, but for all his daughters. I also have always had the calling of a visiting teacher, which is where we are assigned a companion and a few sisters in our ward to go visit. It really is so neat to see who you are put with. Getting to know other girls in my wards has been a huge blessing. It is away to serve and be served. Visiting teaching has taught me so many lessons.
