Hi I'm Kathryn

I live in Wisconsin. I'm a genetics student at BYU. I've been called to serve as a missionary to Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies and interests are many but hopefully I can narrow it down. I love to read fiction (mostly fantasy). I play the piano and guitar. I just finished my first two semesters at college. I mow lawns and nanny for a living.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it has taught me how to have joy and happiness that lasts. For a long time I struggled with self-esteem issues and not being confident in who I am. When I read through the Book of Mormon and prayed about it for the first time, I was encompassed with love and compassion from Heavenly Father and I could feel that through the warmth that was growing in my heart telling me that this book is true, that my Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ, love me, and that my life was not worthless. I learned that I have a great purpose and that is to be the best daughter of God I can be and to help others find their own confidence in themselves but more importantly in their Heavenly Father and that everything will be okay and that they are so loved.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching the children on Sundays. The kids I teach are anywhere from ages 2-11 and I love each and every one of them. I also help out in my ward by visiting some of the sisters from church to get to know them and spend time with them.
