Hi I'm Guadalupe White

I was born in Ensenada Baja Ca Mex. now in USA I am an Addiction treatment counselor I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of two beautiful young men, my younger Son is Cancer survivor from Leukemia. At first it was difficult for both my son and me to accept the painful nature of his illness, and adjust to a new way of life. with chimo therapies and his many other illness that was the result of his treatment. I strongly believe in the power of prayer, and ask everyone to pray for him when he spends 4 long agonizing month in the hospital. He was ready to quit the fight after four month of intensive and painful treatment. When I call him, he told me that he was tired of fighting and that he wanted to go to sleep and wake up when the Dr tell him to go home. I told his Dr that he wanted to quit the fight, the Dr replied to me, I had done all that I could, now is between your son, god and you. I went to the hospital chapel, got down on my knees and pray to heavenly father, like I have never pray before, from my heart, and my soul. I told him that if my son was going to keep suffering that bad, to just take him. I surrender to his well rather then my own, I finally was ready to meet my elders, learn the gospel, babtised, and even recently went to the temple for the first time, I can not imagine my self without my heavenly father, my savior , the church as my everyday guiding light, to show me a better way of life. I want to make a difference in this world as well, by helping others to learn about the Mormon way of life, which I know is the best way.

Why I am a Mormon

I been a member of the LDS Church since April 11th 2015 and since I got baptized, I came to understand that it is not easy to change one way of life for another. I saw the great sacrifices that people made in order to follow our Savior and learn to keep the convenace I have made. I was able to better appreciate, the people from the Church, my elders, my bishop my savior and heavenly father. I have been very happy in the Church, I have really enjoyed the temple visit, the baptism of the dead, the doctrines and all the teachings from the gospel and the book of Mormon, because they have helped me improve my life and try to become a better person. I still have many more things to learn, but I know that in the Church I can find the help that my sons and I need. I don’t want to Know any more what it is like to not attend church on Sunday, and I wouldn’t change that for anything. I have found peace and hope in being Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is a natural way of living easy and simply. It is more than following rules, it is simply following the connivance I did when I chose to fallow the Mormon way of life. As members of the Church, we have the opportunity to improve our lives, individually, as a family, as professionals, and as part of our communities. We can be that small lights to the world that guide others, by doing small and simple things that help improve our environment and our selves. I hope that with my exemple my sons and other members of our family may fallow and learn that we have great potential and that we can achieve anything we desire, just by having faith and following our doctrines teachings.
