Hi I'm Kim

I love hiking, reading, and blogging. I will soon be serving a mission. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Kim! I just finished my first year of college! I absolutely love going on adventures. Some of my hobbies and passions include hiking, cooking, reading, blogging, sailing, genealogy, community theatre, photography and travel. I am also a huge fan of spending a day in binge watching Netflix. If all of those things don't keep me busy enough, I also love to play my violin or go out western dancing with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I learned for myself that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to become all that I can possibly become. He knows me personally. He loves me. He wants me to succeed. He has a plan for me that is more glorious than anything I could possibly ever imagine for myself. I have found greater peace and happiness through living the gospel than anything I have ever experienced. I am grateful for the knowledge of who I am and who I can become that I have found through the church. I know the gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I take every opportunity I have to serve and share the gospel. Up to this point I have taught Sunday School for the 12-13 year olds, served as young women class president, and planned weekly family home evening activities for my singles ward. I'm currently preparing to serve a full time mission in the Wichita Kansas Mission and look forward to sharing my testimony of Christ everyday!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No one is required to serve a mission. Serving a mission is something members do voluntarily because of their desire to share the happiness they've found in the gospel with others. Show more Show less
