Hi I'm Kristen

I grew up in Upland, California. I am passionate about becoming a physical therapist and I throughly enjoy yoga! And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Southern California with my family. I am 20-years-old and have attended Dixie State University in St. George, Utah for the past two years. I recently received my Associate of Science Degree and will be continuing my education at Brigham Young University after returning home from my full-time mission for the church in the Colorado Denver South Mission. I will be majoring in Exercise Science at BYU and hope to continue learning and growing through life's many experiences. Hiking, camping, yoga, singing, writing, and talking are just a few of my hobbies. I love meeting new people and learning from the marvelous people I meet. I will one day be married in the temple to my eternal companion and begin a family of my very own with him. Optimism and happiness have been qualities that I strive to uphold in my own attitude about life. I am determined to help people however I can because we are after all, brothers and sisters on this Earth with destinies individually designed. Each of us is special and none of us will ever stand alone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I find hope in knowing where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. I have a testimony of the atonement and it's healing and cleansing power because I have seen it in my own life. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed to God to know if it is true. I know that that book is true. It testifies of Christ and caused my heart to change. I desire all people to know what I know because then they will know the joy and relief that this Gospel provides. The eternal perspective is always in my mind and I am so grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I will be serving a full-time mission in the Colorado Denver South Mission beginning June 17th 2015 - December 2016. The love I feel for this Gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ is what drives me to seek service. I have been blessed with so much and in gratitude I must share my happiness and joy with other people. I have had many callings in the church which I have served faithfully in, but I believe that the greatest calling any of us will ever have is friend. The atonment is real. It is the only way we can return to our Heavenly Father. Family is eternal and I love mine so very much. I look forward with bliss at the children which my future husband and I will bring into this world. I love this Gospel and I will always strive to follow my Saviors example.
