Hi I'm Tami

I love crafting, teaching, and if you ask my children I can talk forever, but I am actually fairly reserved. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love nature and the out doors. Being in nature is one way I can release from the pressures of life, I also feel a deep gratitude to God for the beauty that surrounds us on Earth. I love to teach, when I am teaching I feel a connection to the people I am teaching, I begin to desire their happiness. Three years ago I found myself praying about my children's education, and now I am a homeschooling mom of 3 boys. Its a journey! I have learned more in the passed 3 years then in my previous 30! Not only are we learning academics together, we are also learning a lot about what it means to be a family and how to love each other and serve each other despite our differences. I love serving others...and this is why my kids think I can talk forever. I believe that in order to serve someone you need to get to know them, their needs and their circumstances. So I talk to them to learn about their lives and their interests and how I can serve them. I enjoy paper crafting, reading and learning about history.

Why I am a Mormon

There are a lot of perks to being a Mormon. I think we have the best fun! Of course that's not the underlying reason. It boils down to faith, faith is the first step to believing in anything. My faith in our Savior Jesus Christ is based on my own personal experiences with Him and the atonement and learning about His life and teachings.

How I live my faith

It's a daily experience. I love having an open communication with the Lord. As long as I am in touch with the Lord daily, I know my part is fulfilled and He will keep His side of the bargain and be there when I need Him. I can have confidence in asking for answers to questions and I can readily receive those answers. Daily communication with the Lord means my relationship with Him will be that much stronger the next day, which opens me up for all kinds inspiration, comfort (when needed) direction, ect.
