Hi I'm Jacob

I'm from St. George, Utah, I love baseball, nature, and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played baseball for over ten years, I also play basketball, golf, and every other sport. I love the outdoors, and I frequently hike, camp, and explore. Music is possibly the thing I am most passionate about in this life, (besides the gospel), and I write music and sing and perform. I have been called to the Tennessee, Nashville mission, and that is significant to me because that is the music capitol of the world. I leave in a few months to serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a Mormon because my family is, nor am I a Mormon because most of my peers are. I am 100% a Mormon because I know that it's true for myself, and I go to church and sacrifice my time and my life because my testimony is solid, and I know that God lives and loves us. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. The teachings of this gospel truly bring joy into my life, and I have noticed a very positive difference in my life when I attend church and say my prayers and do what I'm supposed to do. I promise to anyone investigating the church that if you are baptized and obey the teachings of the gospel, you will know a happiness you have never known previously.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and Wednesday youth activities. I am a leader among the 16-18 year old boys and I organize our events and activities and we reach out to the less active church-goers among our age group. I go to seminary to learn more about my savior, and in free time I study the scriptures daily.
