Hi I'm DeLoy

In my youth I had the opportunity to live in Southern Utah, Colorado and Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Served in the Air Force Reserves, graduated from college, worked in various parts of the western United States in staff and executive positions, but recently retired. I enjoy having more time for projects around our house, spending more time with my wife and family. Married for 46 years and have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. I value time with my family, we enjoy travelling together to National Parks where we can hike and enjoy nature together.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life. There have been times in my life, like almost everyone else, that have been difficult and very heartbreaking. There have also been times of great joy and happiness. Marriages of children to wonderful spouses, attending temples with children, spouses and grandchildren, births of grandchildren into loving and caring family units, realizing if we are worthy we will be able to live together with our heavenly father for eternity are a few of the things that contribute to my joy and happiness. I testify that the more faith I have in Jesus Christ and his atonement the more I felt comfort and peace. I strive to be a good example to those I come in contact with. When I am not the example I need to be I strive to repent and change my attitude and behavior. Continued study of the scriptures has increased my testimony of God the Father, His son Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a better understanding of what it will take to endure to the end.

How I live my faith

I have been given the opportunity to serve in various callings that included teaching in classes, speaking in various church meetings, serving on various councils to assist with coordination of church groups, activities and service opportunities. Home Teaching assignments have provided a wonderful activity to visit with and serve many individuals and families
