Hi I'm Andrea Bibo

I grew up in Sunset, Utah. I am 19, and have been called to serve a mission in the Philippines, Iloilo mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love a couple of things in life, music and reading. I started playing the trumpet in the seventh grade, and played all throughout high school. I was a part of many concerts, festivals, full-orchestra, and even part of the Pit orchestra for the Phantom of the Opera. Another thing that I love to do is to read. I love to read anything that I can get my hands on, but my favorite genres are fantasy, science fiction, and adventure novels. I also am a fan of food: Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and soon Philippine food. I am currently working on a Psychology degree, and want to eventually work to become a psychiatrist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon, and believe it to be the word of God. I know that when I read the Book of Mormon, I feel God's love for me. As I read this book, my life is better because of it. I know that Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for each and everyone of us so we can be happy and return back to the presence of our Heavenly Father. I know that the true church was taken off the earth for a time, but all of the truths we need to know to return back to our Heavenly Father were restored by the prophet Joseph Smith. At the age of fourteen Joseph Smith had a question, and read the scripture James 1:5, which says If any of ye lack wisdom, let him ask of God. I know that just as Joseph Smith received an answer, we can pray and receive an answer to our prayers. I know that as I pray, I know that Heavenly Father has answered back to me and answers through a peaceful feeling and through other people. Everyday we receive tender mercies that are individualized. There is no other way to have an enduring peace and happiness that last for our entire lives. If you want to know more, follow the James 1:5, and ask of God, to know if these things are true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church my entire life, so I have done various callings in the church. When I was in Young Women's, a group of young women ages 12-18 meet together, I was the second counselor in Beehive(ages 12-13), Miamaids(14-15), and Laurels(16-18) presidency. I was then Laurels president. I was also on the planning committee for activities for the whole city. In those callings we would plan activities for our ago group. Recently, I have been a genealogy or family history teacher, where we would research our ancestors through the computer program www.familysearch.org.
