Hi I'm Claryssa

I love to volunteer and help my community. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Utah and spend most of my time working, being with friends, and attending church meetings and activities. I love my family and am the sixth child of seven. I completed several college courses, while in High School, and have attended one semester at LDS Business College. I love to learn and hope to get a degree in the medical field. I am passionate about serving others and always strive to help everyone feel welcome. My hobbies include: reading, scrapbooking, cooking and listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

My membership in the Church has brought so much happiness and good into my life that I cannot imagine it any other way. The Church's teachings have increased my faith in Jesus Christ, personally provided me with knowledge of God's plan, and helps me to be a better person. Through all of the tests and trials that I have faced in my life, if I wasn't a member of this Church, I don't know how I would have made it through. The commandments keep me safe. I am able to see the hand of God in my life on a daily basis, I know that He loves me and is here for me. This is the only true church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of his teachings and his authority on the Earth. Through studying, prayer and faith, I have come to know that this truly is The Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is following my Savior, Jesus Christ's example of always being kind and helpful to others. This can be achieved on a daily basis through small and simple acts-such as smiling and saying hello to everyone that crosses our path. A simple "good morning" or "how are you?" could be the needed boost in a person's day. I serve in my capacities in my ward and love every minute. I am an group leader for Monday night activities, a service committee member, and a ward missionary.
