Hi I'm Connor Stringam

I've spent my last couple years in New Mexico and I am serving a mission in Puerto Rico and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year of college for chemical engineering and am now on a mission. Throughout high school I played football and wrestled, and through college I participated in groups such as AIChemE and ASNMSU the student government of my college. Now I am so lucky and humbled to be called to serve and will go diligently and faithfully to serve for two years. Some people say two years is alot, but when you are willing to give your life for something, what is two years? This is why I serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I think the main reason I continue to be a Mormon is I see more truth here then anywhere else I've looked. When i was younger, around 16, I had a major crisis of faith and decided I wanted to examine other churches, so i went, and I say truth and teachings of Christ in every church, but each religion I examined had pieces missing, so I came back, and have never regretted that decision, because this is where i see the most truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in church and participating in activities and also learning through a religious class we hold just off campus called institute and serving my mission.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Connor Stringam
I know that Jesus is the Son of God and I know that through him, my redeemer, is the only true way to repentance and being saved, and this is how imperfect souls like you and me can reach heaven. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Connor Stringam
We see the happiness that the gospel has brought in our own lives, and we believe so strongly in it that we want to go and share the gospel, and spread this happiness and wonderful thing we have. Show more Show less
