Hi I'm Victoria

I am a college student studying Animal Sciences. I have recently been called to serve a mission in Costa Rica. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Animal Sciences and possibly Organic Agriculture with the hopes of managing or running my own farm one day. I am always had a love for animals and am excited to work with them for years to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, however, I wasn't truly and personally converted until I moved away from home. Due to some difficult circumstances in my life, I simply didn't believe in Christ or Heavenly Father. However, when I came to college, I knew I needed to surround myself with good influences, and what better way to do that than going to an LDS church? Before I knew it, I was reading the Book of Mormon, praying each night, and even meeting with the missionaries a few times a week. I can't recall when it finally hit me that the church is true, I just knew. It took a lot of praying and studying, though, and it hasn't come without difficulty. One of the most important things I learned about was pure intent. Pure intent is when you are willing to do something no matter the cost. When I asked Heavenly Father with real intent if the church was true, I received an answer. And now, I am preparing to serve the Lord for 18 months in Costa Rica. The gospel has helped me through the toughest experiences and has made me become a better person. I truly am grateful for this church. I know families can be together forever, and that we have a living prophet of the earth today! The Book of Mormon was written for our time and is the key to our happiness.

How I live my faith

In church, I organize family nights every Monday. Because most of us are in college and away from home, it is nice to know that the church is like a second family. Outside of that, I regularly attend Sunday meetings and enjoy reading scriptures each night and sharing them with others.
