Hi I'm Brett

I grew up in the small town of Midway, UT. Graduated Snow College, pursuing a career in Interior Design, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Growing up in a small town of just under 4,500 was both a great blessing and sometimes a large struggle. I have a love of leadership and helping others see their full potential, I'm an avid photographer, and I love spending time with my family and friends (mostly eating and enjoying road trips). I graduated high school in 2013 with grand plans to pursue a career in aviation at Westminster College, to leave the LDS faith, and to do what seemed in my eyes to be what made me happy. Luckily for me our Heavenly Father had a much different plan in store and I ended up switching schools and moving to yet another small town, Ephraim Utah, to attend Snow College. While there I was blessed to have amazing roommates, friends, and teachers who helped me to feel loved, valued, and accepted! In January of 2014 I was lucky enough to meet two amazing missionaries and the Light of Christ was brought back into my life. From there I learned to develop a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ, turned my life back to them, and have prepared to serve a full time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has not really been easy for me, but through His grace I have been able to find the support, love, and continued revelation that I need to stay faithful. I'm a Mormon because I have truly found joy that has come from living a covenant keeping life, by being obedient, and by gaining the personal and individual revelation that I need. I'm a Mormon because I know that our Heavenly Father has an individual plan and work for me!

How I live my faith

I have learned to live my faith by being patient and persistent. Growing up I thought that God would just hand me everything and that everything would work out just as I wanted. But, I learned that our Heavenly Father wants us to work at doing what we can to progress and that He is always there helping us along. I live my faith by trusting in our Heavenly Father's timing and plan, and have learned that sometimes its best to just take things a day at a time. I really strive my best to really live a life that is filled with joy, and a joy that can only come from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. To me this means having daily prayer and scripture study, reaching out to serve those around me, and striving to be a personal minister to those who come into my life. I honestly feel that the way we best come to know our Savior is to be with others one on one, to love them individually, and to serve them as He would.
