Hi I'm Abi

I am from Utah. I love athletics, my family, and finding joy in simple things. I am a mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of four children. I hold my family very dear to my heart. I graduated high school in 2014 and attended a university this last year. While there, I decided I wanted to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Now, I am preparing to serve in the Virginia Richmond Mission and I couldn't be more excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. So as a child, I knew nothing else. But as I grew older, I had the opportunity to meet many different people from many different religions, all of which I got to know quite well. It was through certain experiences with them and my desire to know for myself that I came to know that this was the true church of God. I then decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life trying to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In the past, I have had many opportunities to teach a class of women in my church. While doing so, I was able to learn a lot myself, a lot of which I will be able to share with the wonderful people of Virginia. I find that the best way to live my faith is through my actions and by example. I have been a team captain of many sports, and therefore have had a lot of people look up to me for guidance. That has been my main way to express and share my beliefs and also to show my faith.
