Hi I'm Corinne

I've studied at Utah State to become a speech pathologist. I love this gospel and can't wait to serve a mission!

About Me

I grew up in a small town, and spent a lot of time raising a guide dog for the blind my senior year of High School. I was also involved in several orchestras playing and teaching the violin and viola. I did a year of college at Utah State focusing on becoming a speech pathologist and now I'm preparing to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

No one on this Earth is perfect. I know there's been trials in my life I've gone through that I couldn't go through on my own. This gospel teaches that we are never alone. That's been the greatest comfort to me throughout my life, that there is literally a God cheering for me and helping me through every single day. I know he can work miracles in my life. Since I know he'll never leave me alone, I want to do all that he has asked of me and be the best person I can be. I still have a lot of learning and growing to do, but as long as I do my part, I know Heavenly Father is on my side.

How I live my faith

To me, the gospel of Jesus Christ is a way of living, not a checklist as it's sometimes taught. Once we're baptized it doesn't end there. Living the gospel includes making small everyday decisions that I know Heavenly Father would be proud of. I live the gospel daily by only putting things into my body that I know are healthy and not addictive. Another choice I make everyday is to keep my language clean. We can choose to be more like Heavenly Father in our everyday actions and attitudes. It's as simple as saying a kind thing to a sibling or trying to be your best self.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Corinne
Well who wrote the bible? The Book of Mormon, like the Bible is a compilation of the words of prophets that have lived before us testifying that there is a God. Just like God talked to Prophets long ago, he talks to us today through our current prophet Thomas S. Monson. Show more Show less
