Hi I'm Brayden

I grew up in small town Wyoming. I love the outdoors, sports, and being with family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brayden. I am 18 years old and I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. Being outdoors and active have always been a big part of my life, playing sports all year round and spending the summers dirt biking, fishing, camping, and boating with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this Church because I have testimony in this Gospel that I know it is true. I know it is true because I have received a witness through the Holy Ghost that it was the truth. I have read the Book of Mormon and I did as Moroni promises at the end of the Book of Mormon. Through doing what Moroni directs I have come to know for myself where the truth is. Living the gospel and choosing to have faith has blessed my life more than I can comprehend. Without this gospel and the guidance, comfort, and knowledge it provides I know that I would be lost today. I choose to be a Mormon because I know it is the only way to truly become the best we can be and become what God wants us to be.

How I live my faith

I am an active member for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In my ward part of my weekly responsibilities include preparing, passing and blessing the sacrament. Every week boys starting from the age of 12 are responsible for the sacrament for the entire ward. We have to show up at least 15 minutes early to prepare and 15 after to clean. Also members of the church starting at age 14 take part in home teaching. Every month me and my father go out and visit our assigned home teaching families to fulfill this calling. I also participate in seminary. Seminary in the school that I am at is offered as a release time class during the day. Every other day I go to seminary right before lunch to learn more about the gospel. There is also Wednesday night activities every week that the youth attend to do service projects and to come closer as a youth group. Living my faith has made my life more meaningful and exciting.
