Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Utah. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. I will play or watch almost anything. I love being active and doing things outdoors. I am not currently attending college. I am working at an online high school and I really enjoy my job. I have received my mission call and I am preparing to serve my mission June 2015 -June 2017 in Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

Originally I was Mormon because my parents are Mormon. It's just the way I was taught and grew up knowing. I eventually had to be converted on my own though. That took time. When I turned 18 I stopped attending church and basically shut everyone out. It took a couple years but I eventually realized how miserable I was and that something was missing in my life. My Bishop asked me to come and help teach the children in the ward and that is was got me coming back. I eventually was asked by a friend to come to the Young Single Adult ward and I did without hesitation. The singles ward has been an amazing blessing. I have met many awesome people and friends. The leaders of the ward have been great to me and have helped me to become a better person. I struggled for a while with some things but have been supported throughout which has been a big blessing. Now I'm to the point where I am going to serve a mission so I can share my story and help others who may be searching for a purpose and for happiness.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending a Young Single Adult ward(congregation). Other than our Bishop and councilors all members of the ward are single, 18-30 years old. I am currently serving as an assistant clerk over finance.I am one of the people in charge of inputing tithing and other donations into the computer. I occasionally teach the men of the ward during one of the classes. I also serve on the stake(a group of wards) activities committee. So I help plan and organize activities for the other members of our stake. I previously served as an activities committee co-chair of my ward. All of my callings have been great and have greatly blessed my life. I have had countless opportunities to serve and I have made many friends in the process.
