Hi I'm Lameck

I was born in Kenya. I live and go to school in the United States. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Kenya but my parents and little brother came to the States when i was 5 years old. I've pretty much grown up in the LDS church because my Dad converted soon after we arrived. Now I'm going to college at BYU and preparing to serve a full time church mission in Birmingham Alabama. In High School i started playing sports. I wrestled and played football and from this i made some of my best memories. I enjoy all types of sports though, whether it's the Super Bowl or FIFA world cup.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because i love it. The principles I have learned and studied throughout my time in the church have brought me both peace and joy. As i look back on my life i can clearly see the difference between fully living the Gospel of Christ and just being a member in word. The times that i strive to truly live the gospel have been the times that i have grown the most, personally, spiritually, and intellectually. I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father have a plan for me while i'm here on Earth. As i keep their commandments i feel myself growing into the person i genuinely want to be.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel through how i treat other people. I'm a social person and love meeting new people with differing backgrounds. As i interact with friends and loved ones i strive to be an example of the things that i hold close to my heart. Most importantly, I know that Jesus Christ died for us so that we might be perfected through him. This gives me lasting happiness and optimism for the future which i hope others that know me, who might not be as enthusiastic about the future, can see.
