Hi I'm Brittany

I enjoy the arts, good conversations, beautiful things, and just being with the people I love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and new mother. I feel so blessed to have a family to love and share my life with. I love to play, sing, and listen to music. Much of my family time growing up revolved around music, but I'm still very shy about it! I have loved watching as well as being in plays. I'll never forget starring as a washing machine in a high school competition. I served a mission in San Fernando, California and learned Spanish there. It was indescribable. I've been home five years and I continue to see blessings from that service. I enjoy people. I feel strongly that a day spent with family and others I love, is a day well spent.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have observed family members who love and live the gospel, and family who have searched for happiness elsewhere. The difference is stark. I have seen firsthand the joy that living the commandments brings. Being a Mormon hasn't meant a carefree life, but it has certainly meant finding peace even in trying times. Just as Christ explains in John 7:17, if we live the principles we are taught, we can know whether or not they truly come from God. I have read The Book of Mormon. I have attended church. I have prayed to my Heavenly Father. And I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Through it I have felt my Savior's love for me and I have no doubt He loves each of us individually and unconditionally. I know God is our Father and that He loves us perfectly. Through the good and the bad, He is right by our side. Just as I have felt these truths in my heart, I know you can feel them too. I know God hears your prayers and desires to answer you. As you humbly pray and seek the truth, He will help you feel in your mind and your heart the truth of these things. I testify that He only wants what's best for you, and that He will help you find the truth and happiness you seek.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed serving in different capacities in the church. Some of my favorite memories involve sharing my testimony through music. It is a powerful tool for me to feel God's love. I currently enjoy having activities with the youth of the church. We teach them principles that will contribute to a happy and fulfilling life, and they remind us to be young at heart. I strive to live my faith each day in my home by studying scriptures, praying, and serving my family members. As we come closer to God, He blesses our home and our relationships.
