Hi I'm Adam Lau

I was born and raised in Provo Utah. I am a ballroom dancer. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have been dancing ballroom since I was twelve years old. It has been a huge part of my life and I have been able to compete across The United States for the past few years. I am currently serving a mission in Texas. After that I will be going to college to study psychology and business and become a professional ballroom dancer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church and as a child was brought by my parents to church every Sunday. As a teenager I gained a testimony of my own through prayerful study of the Holy Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. My testimony never came through one overwhelming experience but was built piece by piece. I would have quiet feelings of piece and comfort that strengthened my testimony over many years as I continually read and pondered these works and prayed to know if they were truly from God. As I got older I recognized the value of the principles taught in this church. The importance the gospel places on family, service, and love toward all people that is unlike most of the world. I know this church to have the entire gospel of Jesus Christ in it's fullness through the Prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and as a disciple of Christ I am always looking for opportunities to serve my fellow men. I love teaching the sunbeams (4-5 year olds) in my local congregation. I love to study the scriptures every day to come closer to Christ and try my best to follow his example.
