Hi I'm Geoff Goffe

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Called to serve in the Sweden Stockholm Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Geoff, I was born a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I acted in High school and I've been in over 20 productions in theatre. I was on my school's swim and water polo teams. My dad is a teacher and my mom is a flight attendant. Through my mom's flight benefits, I've been able to travel the world. Through this I have been able see many of God's wonderful work in the world. I served as a full-time missionary in the Sweden Stockholm Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Heavenly Father, and I know he loves me. I'm a Mormon because it helps me know who I am and who I can be. There has been many occasions when this church has helped me.

How I live my faith

I live by faith by trying accomplish the little things. I have learned that to have faith means to take action. A great example of this is found in Matthew Chapter 14. This is the chapter in which Christ and Peter walk on water. I realized that I could very easily relate it to my life. When Peter was focused on the savior he was able to walk on water, but the second he looked away to the storm he started to sink into the water. It is the same for me, when I am focused on the gospel and Christ, I can do anything. I am able to learn things fast, and I am more willing to serve people. However there are times when I look away, and get caught up in the storm, lose faith in my self, and think that I can't succeed in life. I've learned that when I lean on the lord and the savior I will be lifted up. It's so easy in this world to get caught up in things that don't really matter. I learned that when we have a positive attitude and look at life from an eternal perspective we can face problems. President Russell M. Nelson once said, "Be patient with yourself; perfection comes not in this life, but the next life. Don't demand things that are unreasonable, but demand of yourself improvement." I know that God helps me understand my purpose in life. Life is meant to good, so look for the good in life.
