Hi I'm Kaylee

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a teacher, and I love traveling, reading, camping, and being with family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach English at a local high school to tenth and eleventh graders and love it even though it can be very difficult at times. I attended BYU before I started teaching where I met my wonderful husband. We have been married for almost four years now and have one son. He is our angel baby who we miss very much, but we know we will see him again. We love trying new things and visiting new places together. Anytime we can boat, hike, camp, play games and sports together, we are happy. I love spending time with family and friends as much as I can and I love this church!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the things that this church teaches are true. I have read the teachings of the prophet Joseph Smith, modern prophets, and The Book of Mormon and they have testified to me of their truthfulness and I feel the spirit of that truthfulness every time I read. I believe in the plan of salvation that families can be together forever. This knowledge has sustained me through the loss of my own child who passed away two days after birth. I also know that God loves his children and answers their prayers still today. I have felt is warmth surround me in my moments of tribulation and greatest grief. He is there for his children and will guide them in their lives. These beliefs are deeply rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures and praying daily. I know this is the key to feeling close to the spirit daily. I also live my faith by aligning my life with Christ's teachings and trying to serve my fellow men. When I am striving to do what is right and looking for others to serve, I am at my happiest.
