Hi I'm Alisha Jensen

I grew up in Utah. I will be serving in Mexico on a mission. I love this gospel and I am a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I am a soon to be missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love anything and everything that pertains to this gospel. Aside from my religion, I have many other things that I really love. For starters, I love spending time with my family and my friends. I love doing anything and everything that involves the outdoors. Much of the outdoor activities I love involve snowboarding, longboarding, hiking, wakeboarding, swimming, dancing, and trying my best to live a healthy live. I love meeting new people and I am always up for an adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is what makes me who I am. I love this gospel and I have seen what it is like to be without the blessings that one can receive through being a worthy member of this church, and I don't want that. I love everything about this gospel. I would be completely lost without it, for it is what defines me. I am who I am because of this church and the things that it teaches me, for without it, I can only imagine how lost I would feel. This church provides me with answers and peace that can't be found anywhere else. I am able to be close to my Father in Heaven and my Savior through this gospel and I have come to know them and their love for me. I am Mormon because it makes me who I am, and without it, I don't even think I would be the same person I have become today from the things that I know. This gospel is a place of safety and gives meaning to life and shows me that there is so much more planned for each of us than what we experience here on this earth, and Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ want us to come home to them again someday to live with them and have all the many blessings they have prepared for us.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith by doing things that the Savior would be doing. I try my best to serve those around me and be aware of their needs and the things that they are going through. I strive to keep the promises that I have made with my Father in Heaven and show him that I am willing to do whatever it is that he asks of me. I try to live in a way that makes people realize that I love my Savior and Heavenly Father. Through going to church and participating in church meetings, I feel that I am able to grow closer to my Heavenly Father and recognize the blessings I receive each day. Also, I love serving in callings in my church because it keeps me involved and helps me to more fully be aware of my brothers and sisters in the ward.
