Hi I'm Rachel

I'm from an extremely small town in Nevada, and I am the third child out of seven. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love camping and hiking, even if I am a little bit of a wuss. I love to dance, and I can play piano- just not well. I'm currently a college student, but as soon as this semester is over I'm serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church because it brings peace. It is a comfort in a conflicted world. I love my Savior and I know that He loves me too, and that's definitely part of that peace that I feel. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, because I have read it and it teaches of Him. I just love this Gospel and all of the innumerable blessings it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

I am called to teach every fourth Sunday to a group of sisters in the college young single adult ward. I love service projects and just helping others.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I love helping! It makes my day to be able to make anyone else's day better, and I don't really care if you're Catholic, Mormon, Atheist, or anything else. Service is a really big part of our religion, and most Mormons would love to help out, from worldwide catastrophes to helping weed a backyard-as long as you're out there weeding too!
