Hi I'm Selea Nielsen

I grew up in Utah. I'm a Mormon. I worked hard for my testimony - it didn't just come one day - it came over my lifetime.

About Me

I'm a college graduate. I studied at BYU before my mission and hope to return after to continue my studies and get a Master's in Social Work. I have odd hobbies - such as collecting duct tape. In fact, I have the world record for largest duct tape collection. I'm a total nerd. You'll find me wandering around comic con in some outfit that I probably made the night before. I love sharing my passions with people - weather that be my passion for nerdy things or my passion for the Book of Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I can't think of any other way I would want to live my life. I didn't just pick the religion and stick with it because I'm stubborn. I learned about this religion. I learned what this religion really is, and I like it. Being a Mormon doesn't mean you can't enjoy life because you can't do "fun" things (such as drinking, smoking, whatever it may be). Being a Mormon is enjoying life to it's fullest. I can still have a personality as a Mormon. I can still have a life - and a good life at that.

How I live my faith

I try to go to activities that my church, or church members, put together. This helps create a sense of unity between the other church members and myself and it helps me gain friends that share in my faith and beliefs.
