Hi I'm Niko

I'm a Samoan serving a mission in Kobe Japan. I love helping others and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a missionary in Kobe, Japan. I come from a family of 5 girls and 2 boys. Family is one of the most important things to me. Before leaving for my mission, I played collegiate golf down in good ole Nebraska. I love food, and like making it too. I like to play the ukulele and sing. I love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to this Church. Having grown up a Protestant, I, with my family, save my father went to church, and knew that there was a God. It wasn't until two missionaries walked onto our doorstep and showed us that God is OUR loving Heavenly Father. My family, save my father and 2 oldest sisters, are members. I have been blessed enough to have been given the chance to know and love this gospel. I am a Mormon because of it's teaching of family and how we believe that the family is the single most important unit on this earth. Heavenly Father's plan has been made for families and individuals, and one thing I truly love, is the knowledge that families can be sealed for time and all eternity. Jesus Christ gave His life so that we can have the ability to return to our Father in Heaven again, through our righteousness. I am a Mormon because I truly love being one.

How I live my faith

Before I left on my mission, I played college golf, and used that as a way to share my faith. Not necessarily through what I said, but what I tried to do. Golf means so much to me, and to be able to build God's Kingdom through something I love is awesome. I am now a missionary here in Kobe Japan, and living my faith everyday. As a missionary, I preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to those willing to hear it. Everyday, I have the chance to testify of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to people who haven't even heard or thought about God before. I know that faith comes through action, and action requires faith.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Missionaries share the message of Christ and His Atonement for each and every one of us. They will teach about how we can all return back to Heavenly Father, through His plan of salvation, in which the Atonement of Christ is centered around. They will also teach of how we are all children of God and that He loves every one of His children. Show more Show less
