Hi I'm Carter Lybbert

I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. I am an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. I am the 2nd youngest of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. I love to learn and expand my education, I have recently completed my freshman year at Brigham Young University. I love meeting new people, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and watching movies. I also enjoy staying active by playing soccer, water polo, swimming, going water and snow skiing, and wake boarding. I have been called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Argentina Mendoza Mission, I am so excited to preach the gospel to the people of Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it fills my life with happiness. The gospel brings me peace and it helps me understand my purpose in this life. Knowing that I am a son of a loving Heavenly Father, and that I have infinite worth gives me an eternal perspective on my life. I have a strong testimony that families can be together forever. My family means everything to me and knowing that I can spend eternity with them is incredible. I also have a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. Through the Atonement, Jesus Christ felt every pain, sorrow, and disappointment we experience. No matter what we are going through, no matter how alone we feel, He understands exactly what we are feeling. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, my beliefs bring me so much joy and help me overcome any trials I experience in this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every single day. The choices I make, the direction I take my life, and the people I choose to be around are all because of how I want to live my life. Each day I try my best to live how Christ lived with love, compassion, patience, and charity for everyone he came in contact with. As I do this I feel closer to my Heavenly Father and feel his love as he blesses me with spiritual strength.
