Hi I'm Miles

I fix cars and live outside. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Whether it's taking long hikes, fishing, or even just driving down a two lane highway with my windows down, I love fresh air and mountains. I enjoy board games, I have lots of them. My family is high on my list, spending time with my mom, dad, and sister brings me joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, my parents taught me all about His gospel and what it means when I was young. Days that I follow the Commandments and keep my Covenants I feel incredibly happy, I have endless energy, and I feel closer to my friends and family. When I make mistakes, however, I feel lonely, lost, and depressed. I try my best to make it back on the right path to maintain my state of happiness. I read the scriptures daily, and enjoy the messages they share. I love the stories they tell, and the lessons we can learn from them.

How I live my faith

I was called as a family history representative. I loved sharing with the ward members how to look up their ancestors, indexing, and making new friends through distant relatives. We do service projects every Saturday morning, I try my best to attend. We usually help out in our neighbors yards, doing things like laying sod, pulling weeds, or raking up rocks (There's a lot of them out here!).

What is the Book of Mormon?

Miles
The Book of Mormon is another witness of Christ. Ancient prophets in the Americas wrote all of the teachings found within it's pages, and they themselves have their own testimonies of Jesus Christ, His mission, and how we can all return to live with Him again. Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Miles
Mormon missionaries share a very special message about Jesus Christ. They are out to serve others, whether it be physical service or helping them return to Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Miles
The Church's welfare service is to help those who are less fortunate have food for long enough that they can get back on their feet. We help people support their families while they find jobs to enable them to do it themselves. Show more Show less
