Hi I'm Sara

I'm a painter, tennis player, and concert enthusiast. I love to laugh and am as sassy as one gets. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Junior in college studying Marketing with big dreams for the future. I've lived in Utah my whole life. I love to read, paint, and play tennis in my free time. All three of these activities are stress relievers for me and help me escape the busy world. Throughout my life, I've enjoyed reading my favorite books into the early hours of the morning. I love my family more than life itself. I am the daughter of two amazing parents and have three siblings. I have big ambitions and love to work hard. I'm interested in a future where I can change others lives for the better, whatever career path that might be. I love going to crowded concerts and feeling the magnetic energy there. My guilty pleasure is listening to big band swing music. I can't wait to be a wife and a mother someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have read it dozens of times, and every time I do, the Spirit confirms to me that it is true. Because of this book, I know that we have a loving and literal father in heaven. I know that there is life after death. I know that Christ's Atonement is available to anyone who is humble and repentant. I have used His Atonement in my life every day and am grateful for the knowledge that we have a merciful God. The greatest happiness I have received is His forgiveness. I owe all that I am to Him. This knowledge has given me hope in the future. It has given me happiness. I couldn't ask for anything more in life than that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following my Savior Jesus Christ and His teachings. I try to follow His commandments by going to church, reading my scriptures, and praying to God. I strive every day to emulate Christ and do this by trying to be the best me I could possibly be. Note the word "try." I am not perfect, but I know I can be through His Atonement. Because of this, I feel indebted to my God and Savior. I want to serve Him by teaching His children the happiness this gospel brings. I am excited to do this by serving a mission in Cuernavaca Mexico for 18 months. I am excited for this opportunity and the difficulties and disappointments that will bring me closer to my Savior. I am excited to become more humble and sacrifice my desires for God’s will. I am excited to lose myself in the work of God.
