Hi I'm Trever

I grew up in Texas. I love jet skiing and snowboarding. I love learning and I have a passion for music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent the last two years at BYU studying molecular biology, with plans to attend MD/PhD school to train to become a Medical Scientist, emphasizing in neuroscience research. I love to learn new things and have enjoyed my time at school. I also love outdoor activities such as snowboarding, mountain biking, jet skiing, road biking, scuba diving, and swimming. I have a passion for music, and have been involved with classical piano, jazz piano, tuba, trombone, saxophone, trumpet, and other instruments over the years. I like to travel and experience new cultures. I love getting to know new people and hearing their stories.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the promised blessings and love from God. This church has offered wonderful answers to the questions of life and gives me direction as I try to find my own way. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been a foundation in my life and constantly brings me peace and comfort in the challenges of the modern world. I know that Christ atoned for my sins, and that knowledge drives me to become a better person each day. What's more, is that when I fail, I know Christ is still waiting for me, arms open, to help me try again.

How I live my faith

Whether it's by abstaining from alcohol or smoking, or even by something a simple as keeping the Sabbath Day holy, I live my faith every day by committing myself to Christ and by striving to live my life the way He would have me to. I will also be living my faith over the next 2 years as I serve a Spanish speaking mission in Washington for the church, in an effort to bring people to Christ, so that they may come to know Him as I have.
