Hi I'm Kassie

I'm a singer/songwriter who loves Chemistry, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up loving music, but also loving to learn. I want to be a Chemistry teacher after I graduate college. I love people, and I love my family. I'm just a spazzy, energetic girl who loves to make people laugh. I love to learn, but I am currently taking a break from my college experience to serve the Lord on a full time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into this church. Because of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have known how to be close to God my whole life, and have been able to develop a good relationship with him. My faith guides me through my life everyday. I love Jesus Christ, and I know he is with me every step of the way. He has helped me through my lowest lows, and helped me find joy through this incredible journey. I have learned that Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father love us on a personal level, and God is in the details of our lives. I am so grateful for the little things. I know that living my faith by prayer and scripture study EVERYDAY, I have found incredible blessings in my life. Heavenly Father is aware of us, and he will never leave us alone, we just have to turn to him.

How I live my faith

I have served in what would be considered "small" callings to other people, but working in the background has been a great learning experience to me. There is no "hierarchy" in this church. Every member is just as important as the current leaders, and the turn to be a leader will pass between mostly everyone. Your position or calling in this church doesn't define who you are, it's just a great opportunity to serve the Lord and the people around you. We're all just here to love and support each other through this journey.
