Hi I'm Matthew

I grew up in Idaho, I study architecture at BYU-Idaho, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play Volleyball, and Ultimate frisbee. I play the bass guitar and have been in a few bands through high school and afterwards in college. My favorite music to play has been the blues because of how much freedom and interpretation you are allowed. I also ride longboards, I love the feeling of the wind blowing in your hair while cruising down the streets.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have faced many struggles and challenges in my life, the Gospel of Christ has never given up on me and it never will. As I strive to draw nearer to my Savior and my Heavenly Father I gain a greater understanding of their love for me and the relationship that I can have with them. Turning to God for help in all things isn't always easy but as you try to put all your trust in Him, all things will be possible.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving a full time mission to teach the gospel to the people of Virginia. In my mission, and in my everyday life as well it has become a personal goal to always leave a positive impression on everyone I come across. You can never know the impact a simple smile and a hello might have on someone.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Matthew
Jesus Christ gave his life so that we may return to our Heavenly Father. Our Father loves us more than anything and wants to see us return to him so badly that he gave his first and Greatest Son, Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. Show more Show less
