Hi I'm Morgan

I am a daughter. I am a seeker of all things happy. I am a lover of the beach and warm weather. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love art, cooking, hiking, dancing, game nights, sunshine, college football, sports, anything chocolate, boating, and laughing. I just finished my first year of college at Utah State University. I have been called to serve as a missionary in the Brazil Manaus Mission. I have moved around a lot and grown up in several different parts of the United States. I have two loving parents, a little sister, and a little brother. I love exploring this beautiful Earth and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my entire life; however, there was a time where I had to learn for myself if this church is true. After reading the Book of Mormon, attending my church meetings and praying I received an undeniable answer that this church is the only true church upon the Earth today. I never had one big, strong answer to my prayers, but rather I realized that every time I sat down to pray or read my scriptures the spirit spoke to my heart. It was little by little that the spirit bore witness to me that this church is true. I know that Christ lives. I know that he died and was resurrected so that everyone has the opportunity to return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that he restored the gospel on the Earth today. I know that we have modern day prophets that hold keys to receive revelation for our day. I know that we can speak to our Father in Heaven through prayer. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He listens when we pray. I know that there is a purpose to our lives and when we obey and follow his commandments we can return to our Heavenly home. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and we can grow closer to Him through this book. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints is true.

How I live my faith

My life actually hasn't gone as I planned at all. Through all the ups, downs, and unexpected changes I have learned that The Lord knows better. I had to come to know what faith was first through my trials, prayers, and continually following the commandments. I learned that faith was putting my full trust in my Heavenly Father and his plan. I live my faith through praying every day, studying the Bible, Book of Mormon, General Conference talks, and preparing for my mission. I live my faith through serving others and my family. I live my faith through obeying the prophet, Thomas S. Monson, my bishop, and other local church leaders. I know that as I live my faith I will be blessed with the Holy Ghost as my constant companion.
