Hi I'm Max Marston

I grew up in the Idaho. I go camping, fishing, hiking, etc, yet mostly I draw, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young man that lives in the northwestern part of the United States, basically in the mountains. I love to go camping, hiking, fishing, etc. I don't know what it is yet I just have this desire to explore, to see what on the other side. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Iowa, Des Moines Mission. I love to study sciences, such as Astronomy, Astrophysics, Biology, Geology, Paleontology, History, etc. For the most part I study mainly Astronomy, Biology, and History. Mainly from all of these I draw. I'm a great artist, so I been told. In my opinion my work is good yet not as good as I want it to be yet. I'm actually thinking of pursuing a career in art. I know not specifically, nevertheless the future remains yet to be written.

Why I am a Mormon

Well to start I grew up in the LDS Church since I was a young child. Until I reached around the age of 13 my family stopped going to church. My father for 40 years was looking for the true church. In late February 2014 he prayed to God with a humble and sincere heart. On the 2nd of March 2014 he was in the living room and then he was visited by an angel. The angel said unto him "Come back to the Church and bring your children with you and your wife shall soon follow." After this he had told me and my brother about his experience. I was somewhat skeptical of it at first but I trusted my father. Two weeks after this experience I had a great and powerful desire to know for my self that this is the true church as I still had some skepticism. Before I went to bed I preyed to God and asked with full sincerity and humbleness in my heart and said "Is this Church true, is this gospel true, is everything about this church true?" Within seconds I have herd a word. A word that was literately as loud as thunder and has moved me as if it were an earthquake and filled the air with love, bliss, power, and light. I know this was God speaking unto me and he has said simply yet bodily "Yes" I knew then that this direction is true. Since then I have received many experiences that were just as strong and even stronger. I cannot and Will Not deny these experiences that were in my life! I Know with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all and every essence of my being that this Church IS the TRUE church of Jesus Christ. I know with all my being that Jesus of Nazareth IS the Christ, the son of God, the only begotten, and our savior. I know with all my being that the God of Abraham IS the True God, our creator, and our father in heaven. I know with all my being that Joseph Smith was a prophet from God and was chosen to restore the True Church of Jesus Christ. I know with all my being that the Book of Mormon and the Old and New Testaments are all true and carry the word of God.

How I live my faith

Even though i'm young and not too recently graduated from high school many many people called me wise for my age. I know not of how I am, yet I am who I am. Honestly I respect and appreciate of the example what Jesus Christ has shown. I know i'm not perfect. I have done things in my past that I regret. Since I came back to the Church I have felt things, experience great things personally. Truly I say with a devoted heart I have devoted my life to be like Jesus Christ, even tho i'm not perfect yet truly the sinful habits I had before are disappearing from my life gradually as I strive to live like Jesus Christ. Truly I say sometimes I get a little prideful or what not without realizing and in a way of saying I get bonked in the head, sometimes hard, very hard. I appreciate that actually because of the fact that i'm learning from my mistakes. You may not believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the only begotten or even the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob even. Truly I say one has to admit that living your life with love, respect, courage, and virtue is the best way to live a happy life in the long and the short term. I try my best every day to become more like Jesus Christ. Mostly I help people by concealing or basically talking and listening to them, to love them, support them, and help them every way I can. I try to teach them from my own experiences to be happier with life. I would help everybody I could, doesn't matter if you are in my church, my neighbor, an atheist, from another church like Catholic or Baptist, or even if your a Buddhist or Muslim douse not matter. I will not judge anyone for who or what they are, because it douse not feel right to judge because it makes you feel like you got hit in the gut with a baseball bat.
